Ministry: Russia’s GDP grows 2% in September, 1.2% in Jan–Sep

MOSCOW, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth sped up to 2% in September from an adjusted figure of 1.7% in August, while in January–September GDP expanded by 1.2%, the Economic Development Ministry said in a report on Thursday.

“GDP growth is estimated at 1.2% year-on-year since the beginning of the current year, and in September it stood at 2% in annual terms,” the statement read.
